"Batpeople sounds kind of lame." she said, trying to say something that another girl her age would say. They sounded like that, right? First she had to learn English. Then she had to learn the slang. She was still working on the later, but she was pretty sure she was getting it.
"Nine years is a while." she admitted. She doubted Terry had been doing it for nine years. Two maybe. How long Bruce was at it, she wasn't sure. "I've been Batgirl for...two years, about. But I've been fighting my whole life." trained since the day she was born. Batgirl hadn't had a childhood.
By the time the vampire was getting close to Faith, Batgirl had already spotted it. She wasn't blind, even with the mask. She just acted like nothing was going on until Faith started moving. She glanced down at the vampire that was soon on the ground, slightly amused by Faith's lecture, before glancing back up.
His buddies were visible to her now, and it was easy to do a quick count of how many. Or at least how many she could see.
"Stake to the heart. Holy water. Crosses. Garlic is dumb, and decapitation." Though decapitation had been from Bruce. She said, listing off everything she had seen. She could probably deliver a mean vampire torture session by now to.
When the first two vampires were close, she started to move. She had her own strength, speed and agility that was above natural for a human. Her movements flowed, almost like a well choreographed dance. Her hand flew up, palm smashing into the vampires jaw. She didn't have Slayer strength, but she was still strong, and her hits were well placed. The second vampire, by the way he moved, she knew his attack before he did it. She stepped out of reach of a punch, ducking, and swinging her leg up and around to connect her foot to his jaw. They weren't Lady Shiva, but they were much stronger than what she fought on a regular basis.
