He shifted in his seat, almost sighing. "It looks like you're going to need more than the usual shibang for this one, firecracker. Why don't you think about using some of my resources? I'll hire someone to take care of your little problem. End of story." Usually he preferred to see her learn things the hard way, but tonight he was feeling particularly lenient on his standards. He blamed that solely on the fact that they had spent so much time apart from one another in the first place.
