"I like your way of thinking," he agreed, nodding a little. That definitely sounded all right to him. Hands stuck in his pockets, he looked to Faith and flashed a smile. "Things are going swell. I've been working hard, you know. Getting back in with some of my old circles, throwing in a little effort here and there for quite a few interesting causes." He lifted his eyes toward the front, where there were a few people milling about behind the counter. They seemed gloomy. Ah, well. That wasn't going to do them any good, now was it?
"LA definitely has it's perks," he commented, looking back to the Slayer before him. "It's bigger. Leaves a lot more room for business investments than I thought. Of course, I'd still prefer Sunnydale, but we all know how that story goes. Can't mourn what you've lost forever. That'll just depress everyone. And we don't want that, now do we?" Grin spreading, he gently placed a hand on her shoulder and easily said, "And I missed you. And I think that all of this staying away from one another business isn't going to do either of us any good, do you?" He tilted his head to the side and critically looked her over. "I mean, look at you! When's the last time you've even eaten?"
