Who: Talia Al Ghul and Bruce Wayne What: Bruce stays with Talia while she goes through the after effects of the Pits When: Early morning, still dark Where: Talia's home Rating: PG-13 [language, violence]
The simple insanity passed quickly, within the first few hours, but when she was done going on and on about how world domination was her birthright things quickly got that much more interesting. In fairness, the violence that people went through was another sort of insanity, just a supremely messier one. Especially given the vitality and youth she felt after her latest submersion into the Lazarus Pits. That was why Talia had asked for Bruce and no one else, not even her servants, to sit with her during the ensuing effects.
Bruce Wayne was one of two men alive who could keep her down –the other being her father— and one of four people alive who had ever actually beaten her. She could punch him, kick him, hit him with any weapon she could find and know that in the end he would be able to take it. He wouldn't be dead when she came back around to herself and there would be know guilt.
Her servants had placed her in a guest bedroom, now thoroughly trashed. It was large enough that she had room to stalk black and forth across it like a caged tiger. Angry energy rippled through her as she turned around to look at Bruce.
"Why couldn't you have just stayed?" she spat out, meeting his eyes. "You should have taken your rightful place at my father's side when he returned for you in Gotham. He gave you everything. He made you and you repay him by trying to kill him. By leaving him to die and leaving me and our son."
