The moment Jack stepped into the pub, two very distinct things happened. One, he realised the one woman he had met on the boards hadn't been lying. It seemed there really was all these different beings around and he itched to look closer at them. Two, it was a damn good thing the Hub had decided to make its appearance here in LA. Seemed like this place could use something like Torchwood.
Jack shoved his hands into his trouser pockets, yet slid through the throng of unsavoury-types to where Dukat sat. Later, later he'd look into all of this and see how well the Hub could function without the Rift supporting it. But that was work and this was fun -- and all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
On time as always, Jack slid into the seat across from Dukat. "Quite the establishment," he said, taking another glance around the room.
