"Normal is overrated," Katara stated with a small shrug, turning back to her coffee. "You don't have to be normal. You just have to be Zuko, without the firebending."
Taking a sip, she turned back to him with a small smile. "You should be grateful you can still fight, at least. You may not be able to use fire against someone, but you know how to use other things. I'd be completely helpless without my waterbending."
Which, she reasoned, was a fairly true statement. If ever a lunar eclipse occurred here, Katara was going to make sure she was locked up tight in her room where nothing could happen to put her in any sort of danger. She really couldn't imagine having to defend herself without her own bending. Zuko, however, couldn't make that claim. She knew for a fact he could fight without his firebending. She'd seen him do it too many times to count.
