Zuko didn't understand why she didn't like cranberry juice...then again, he couldn't comprehend how she could stand to drink coffee. Though he refused to admit it, he was more of a tea person. Agni, how a thought like that would make his uncle proud, along with earning him a nice, steaming hot cup of Jasmine tea. And at the moment? Zuko actually missed his uncle's tea. He'd take back every vile thing he ever said in regards to tea if it would bring the sun back.
The prince shook his head as he reclaimed his glass and made his way over to the table, placing himself in a chair and his glass on the wooden top. "Unfortunately, no. He said he wouldn't be able to contact us and is holding true to his word."
He was silent for a moment, then added: "He'll come back. It's all a matter of when."
Folding his arms upon the table in a way that would've earned him a prompt smack to the back of his head for improper table manners from his uncle, Zuko rested his head sideways upon them.
"I didn't realize how vital the sun was to a firebender's being until now," he said suddenly, his normally vibrant gold eyes now darkened to a dull bronze looking to the dark window.
