"That'll work as well as anything," Gabriel said, chuckling to himself as he slipped his hands into his pockets, leaning back against the wall. He wasn't going to push her to go with him until he had some idea of just how stable she was feeling at the moment. She struck him as a rational-logical type, perhaps a little too rational for the situation that she'd been dropped into, and while a real world approach would certainly help with adjusting to a new city, the rest of it would all have to come in its own time.
