Realising he wasn't alone all at once, Luke's footsteps faltered-- but then he knew who it was, and immediately shifted direction to meet Peter outside. "You should be sleeping right about now, you know," he chided gently as he stepped over a fallen beam and emerged into the alley, a quiet smile curving over his face. It was, in a way, something of a joke; neither of them had slept much when he'd been there last, and it had sometimes driven Nathan a bit batty.
Force, it was so good to see him. It was.. it was a little like coming home, and he knew he should've been disturbed to find that Los Angeles was more a home to him now than Yavin IV and the Praxeum. --Peter looked good. Happy, beneath the recent troubles, and Luke had a moment to thank the Force, the gods of this world, and Sarah Petrelli herself for that before reaching the other man and touching fingers to his arms. He drew Peter into a brief, fierce embrace before releasing him with an overwhelmed, sadly bewildered little laugh.
"Suns. I can't believe it's been so long, here.."
He knew precious few at the Hyperion-- he was a stranger to many there. ..Partially, he suspected, why it had felt all right not to come back, but rather.. to leave that haven for his nephew. Luke himself had needed it, once, but-- now Jacen did.
"I'm sorry about all the trouble.. I seem to attract it in droves, don't I?"
