Jack had a lot on his mind these days, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't worry about a missing friend. Especially teammate. He'd been inside so long anyway he was starting to go a little stir crazy, he just hopped their wouldn't be much fighting while they looked if any. He didn't know if he could handle it yet. But it was L.A., so it was almost a guarantee that there would be trouble. And it would come in packs. Not to mention trouble often happened by association. If it happened, he wouldn't let anything happen to her. Healing or not. She was Buffy's sister, and Buffy was a close friend of his. That meant Dawn was a friend too.
It took a while for him to get ready, so he was running a bit late. But not too horribly at least. He arrived only ten minutes later than they agreed. Face still bruised himself from the wonderful demon capture-torture, they'd make quite the pair. But he was healing. He was giving time for the physical to heal. That was the easy part. The mental was an entirely different story. Slipping into the coffee shop he looked around until he saw the vaguely familiar younger Summers' and offered a light smile.
"Dawn?" He said curiously as he approached her from behind and touched her shoulder.
