"Well, if there's going to be swooning of any kind, I might suggest a shift over to the carpeted part of the lobby," Peter said, leaning in the doorway that led to the office and watching the pair. "It's a bit softer over on that side. Not that bruising matters much to you two, but I'd prefer to set a good example for the not-so-indestructibles."
With a smile that was somewhere between a warm grin and a smirk, Peter moved towards the girls, extending a hand to the newcomer. "I'm Peter Petrelli," he said. "Faith tells me there's some issues involving vampires killing Slayers and a scythe that needs to be taken care of." Though how they were going to take care of things in Tokyo, he wasn't sure yet.
