Yeah, that was true. Avoiding never worked out the way that they wanted it to. Someone got hurt or lost in the middle of some chaotic haunting. He shook his head at the memory. "I'm sorry about that. I'm just..." He poked at his silverware with a finger. "I don't know what to do about all of this, Heather. I've tried to reason my way through it, to find some way to just make it work in my head and...and I know what we have to do, right? I know that we've gotta see a doctor and put you on a healthy diet and get all this stuff prepared for the kid, but I just...it's the dealing that gets me."
