With everything going on now; Alessa had to get out of that hotel. It might have been an oddity that she chose to hit the city at night, but that was how she worked. This time she didn't bother to teleport; she chose to walk from the Hyperion to wherever her feet would lead her. The air was relatively cool; making Alessa grateful that she was wearing an above knee length, black coat.
The city was full tonight. This wasn't a surprise, and Alessa had finally gotten used to ignoring people's thoughts. While some people carried useful information (Alessa had finally learned more about pregnancy. A little too much perhaps.) others carried information that was trite and useless to the young woman. However, there was one thought, like a small voice that grabbed Alessa.
I'm going to die. Oh God save me!
Cautiously, Alessa made her way to where she believed this man to be. Of course by the time she got there the man was dead; his killer standing over him. She looked a bit closer, and recognized him from the board.
Hmm, so he was a vampire. Alessa wondered what the hell it was about her crossing paths with these creatures.
