"Learned from the best," she said, a smile in her voice. Finally Babs turned around and looked at her former mentor. She pushed hair behind her ear, clearing her face so that he could see her more clearly. It was only a brief moment before she turned back around to face her screens.
She looked up at the largest one, gesturing with her right hand for Batman to look at it. "Two seconds." Her fingers flew, making the image larger and reorganising the pixels to force it to appear as clear as possible. "There. Twelve-eleven this afternoon." She stared up stonily at the the blurred, yet very apparent image of the Joker on the screen. She hit play and they could watch him practically skipping off down the street, heading north.
"We've lost the window of opportunity." Her jaw clenched. "This is practically twelve hours ago. He could be anywhere." She fast forwarded through the tape until he disappeared form the view of that particular camera. "I can try following him through cameras if I can piece together enough footage from various places in the city, but... it's going to be a long shot."
