Re: Eve and Anya - tearing down Magic
Anya looked up with a dark smile as Eve approached. The truth was all this got to her more than she let on. For one thing it was children. Now, she didn't have quite the same attachment to mini people that most humans did, but even she could tell that kidnapping them was just wrong.
And then there was the other part. The kidnapping men part.
Oh Anya did not like that.
For over a thousand years she had wielded the power of the wish, bending reality itself to curse unfaithful men. It had been difficult and there had been craftsmanship involved goddammit! She had been the best at what she did, not this crude behavior from some little demon wanting to steal her former gig.
But if anyone else asked it was the mini people that Anya was worried about. Too many people got antsy about the ex demon thing.
She focused on the shielding protections, her eyes gradually turning darker with magic. She was not the witch the Willow was, but her own power was not unsubstantial. And she was very in tune with the magical forces of this world.
"Let's get this done," she nodded before stretching out her hand and channeling her power through it as she began to chant in an ancient, demonic tongue from Arashmahaar.
