He glanced over at his gun and considered it for a moment. Then, a single brow lifting, he shrugged and tucked it away underneath his jacket. "Fine." He wanted to shoot at her. He did. But that damned stern look of Ruby's burned into his mind just then. The one that she gave him every time he tried to do things the hard way. The normal way. Maybe she was right, at least in this instance.
Raising both his hands up into the air, almost as though to indicate that it was just him she was dealing with now and not his useless gun, he stepped further into the room and eyed her warily. He looked uncomfortable, but there was also that slightly cocky air that he tended to get whenever he was around someone he extremely disliked. Especially demons like her. His attitude was cocky, anyway. Sam knew better than to underestimate her.
He was searching for some sort of opening to start an attack; maybe to attempt pulling her, when she mentioned Ruby. Sam shrugged. "She's far from a pet."
