He pulled back and kissed her cheek. "Thanks. I appreciate that." He knew he had her around for this kind of stuff, just like she had him, but it was something that he still wasn't quite used to. He didn't think he'd ever be. Sam was so used to relying on Dean for everything. It was odd having an entire family around him. He had more than one person that he could depend on and he didn't quite know what to do about that. He supposed accepting it would be a good start.
Shifting away from her, Sam offered Heather a sheepish sort of look. "Enough about my problems. I think you've already got enough to worry about with that headache of yours."
