Heather nodded. "Yeah, I do. I know the kind of people they are. I know the kind of people all of you are. And making that decision is...well, you're right. That's the real torture." She didn't really know what else to say. What else could she say? She wasn't John or Dean, so she couldn't exactly put Sam's mind to rest, but she could offer support in the form of her opinion, her own thoughts.
When he sat up, she leaned back a little to give him room, sitting cross-legged with her hands clasped in her lap. "I'm sure they'd be willing to do all that when they're ready. Maybe they just aren't yet."
