Heather didn't miss the disciplinary sort of tone that Sam's words had taken on. She definitely felt bad enough about what Uriel had said, and even though it was mostly her own fault for even responding to him, she just didn't feel like having her nose rubbed in the mistake. Sam meant well, though, and just because it was him, she just let it go and didn't think much of it.
"Yeah..." she responded slowly. "You don't have to remind me. Not really something a person could forget." And that was all she said on the matter. It wasn't something she liked thinking about, let alone talking about, that was for sure.
Settling back against the pillows a little, Heather placed the stuffed animal in her lap, knowing she would keep it closeby. "I love it. And it can always remind me of you." She sighed a little and shrugged then. "Nothing, really. Kind of a boring day otherwise. What about you?"
