Heather chose not to mention the fact that Uriel had told her just as much, to watch her mouth before God allowed him to visit her personally. She figured that would only make things worse, and she really hadn't taken it to heart all that much. Just an empty threat to get her to behave. But who really knew? Uriel didn't like her, and she was pretty sure God wasn't too fond of her, either. Ironic in her mind, really.
"I'll be careful," she told him, her droopy gaze continuously meeting his. She wasn't tired, really, but the headache was a real whopper. "It just slipped, he knew that, too. Didn't like it, but didn't think much of it, either."
She fell silent for a few more moments, really letting the movement of his fingertips against the side of her face calm down the throbbing there. It definitely felt good, that was for sure.
