Kara was holding a massive slab of concrete above her head when TK came back over, and she floated up and around to look at her, tossing the heavy slab into a cleared area she'd made, causing it to shatter into smaller pieces, easier for transporting away. Between the members of the League here now, they could easily tear down the structures that were threatening to fall. She'd been piling up the bodies, pulling out more dead than alive. At least she could see them, she just couldn't tell what their condition was at all times.
Looking up, her hands began to raise above her, fully intending to start smashing rubble as it fell. But then they stopped moving. "Wow, nice." she stated, before nodding. "Give me a second." she said in response. Scanning the area with X-ray vision, she knew at least two more people were alive in the area. Another three dead. Mostly she could tell because of the way their bones were crushed, of disfigured. "Two alive." she said, before she moved to the areas they were in. Quickly as she could, moving at an absolute blur, she dug her way toward one victim, than another, hoping the human workers had enough sense to stay away.
Last victim in the area, she had to lower herself into the hole she made to get him, his leg was jammed. It was messy, and as she moved the objects, the hole collapsed in on them. Shifting in the hole, she through herself over the man as a piece of concrete that slipped into the hole fell in, slamming into Kara's back, followed by other objects that all but buried them.
Outside, for a moment, there was no movement from under the mess. It took a few seconds, but finally something shifted, moved, shook, until Kara, holding the man in front of her, almost literally exploded out from the ground, sending heavy objects flying backwards. "All aboard." she muttered as she flew toward TK, using one hand to hold the man, and the other to hook around Tenel Ka's waist and fly them up and to the street, away from anything collapsing in or falling.
