Superman wasn't too far behind. As soon as he received news about the explosions, he had stepped out of the Press and into the nearest closed off location to shed his reporter attire. Seconds later, he was bounding into the air and speeding his way off to the crime scene as quickly as possible. It was only a matter of time before someone horrible ended up here; someone even worse than those vampires and demons that were running around. At least it's not Doomsday, he reminded himself, a sudden ache crossing over him at the memory of their prior encounter. A battle to the death, Lois had said. Except it really wasn't death, was it? Obviously not.
Spotting Kara just up ahead, he circled the area and started to extinguish the flames in the areas that she couldn't quite reach from where she was working. Once finished, he moved back toward Kara, eyes scanning the charred building with nothing short of pure concern shining in them. "Did you get everyone out?"
