Ruby's eyes hadn't left the demon the entire duration of the break, she hadn't wanted Sam to stop, she'd pushed him harder and longer than this before, but there were people around now, people that 'cared' people that saw a little bit of a nosebleed and called a halt to things.
And the thing hadn't shut up, she hated Telepaths, hated them completely, getting inside your head and twisting things. And the Winchesters had a lot to twist.
Talking about John being in Hell and Dean too, Ruby didn't know the full story of what Dean might have done down there, but she could guess, and she knew well about John Winchesters time in the pit. Seeing him was where the idea for his son had taken root in the demons mind.
