She hadn't really been expecting it to be easy to get Ben out but it was probably better for him not to be cooped up in the house, especially since Jo had a sinking suspicion that Dean was at least halfway through a good bottle of something before her and Ben had even found a parking spot. So she didn't take offense at all when Ben pulled out the phone to text to who she could only assume was Dean, and she just hoped he had enough coordination left to be able to respond or the sense to dictate to someone at the least.
It was easy to see though the worry slip into Ben every now and then, the same kind that haunted her though the day too. But at least out here she could just be worried and having Ben around helped keep the anger that threatened to overtake her at bay.
She grinned back, "probably a good thing she's not here then," she pointed out and ate one of the ketchup drowned fries. "Besides, Ruby knows better than to point out my fry eating flaws, she knows I'd just trick her into a trap in the funhouse and leave her there..." she paused, thinking that one through. "Actually, that might be fun regardless."
