Sam didn't like this. Not one bit. Between fighting with Heather, hearing Uriel bitch about everything, and the usual stuff that he had weighed down on him about using his abilities in general, Sam really didn't need to add his father on to the list of things that he was going to stress over when it came down to finding a way to face Lilith off properly. It was the one thing that he was worried about the most. What if something went wrong? What if he couldn't pull the demon out? What if his Dad was stuck with that thing inside of him forever?
He had his doubts. Now more than ever, since they were getting so close to the time where they would attempt the exorcism. He had been nervous about it before, but now he just didn't know if he wanted to go through with it anymore. Sam was hesitating. Maybe Ruby knew that. Maybe that was why she was here.
He stepped into the kitchen and leaned against the far wall. He didn't really pay any mind to the fact that Ruby was messing around with something near the stove. Sam didn't really care. Arms folding across his chest, he offered her a slight nod and looked down. "Where's Cas?"
