Heather shot another death glare off at Uriel over her shoulder when he grabbed her, but try as she might, she couldn't ignore his words. She figured the angel knew it, or perhaps he really didn't, but everything he said tugged at an ever present insecurity inside of her. Sam might not have had those same fears at that point, but Heather saw it from the opposite side, and so Uriel's warnings didn't fall on deaf ears. She didn't want to be so affected by it all, but she couldn't help it.
She knew Ruby wouldn't like it if Sam refused to keep at honing his abilities once Lilith was gone. She'd already given Heather that kind of vibe more than once. But would Ruby go so far as to hurt someone like her if it meant keeping Sam doing what she wanted? Heather didn't think so, but even as that thought ran through her head, she remembered what the demon had told her more than once, as well. As long as Heather didn't interfere with Sam's training, everything would be okay between them. Had that been a threat in disguise?
"Leave us alone," she spat from behind Sam. "You're not gonna get your way through us, so knock off the bullshit already."
