For some reason, Heather already had a sneaking suspicion as to what moment Uriel was talking about. Her stomach began to twist into itself uncomfortably, but she said nothing. She didn't even move, save for the slight jerking motion when Sam pulled her towards him protectively.
The environment started to change, and Heather was immediately reminded of all the times the normal town of Silent Hill shifted into the nightmare world, the darker, bloodier, more frightening version of the sleepy little place. This wasn't quite as intense, but it was definitely different than standing outside of a church.
Once Uriel was gone and had left the two of them alone, Heather looked up at Sam, her own expression matching his. He hadn't seemed to catch on the way she had, so there was a bit of sadness mixed into her own anxious features.
"What else can we do?" she asked quietly, and she began walking forward to the next room. She could hear Sam and Ruby talking. He sounded angry, she sounded far too calm. Maybe even seductive. Her stomach knotted even more, but she kept walking.
