"Ok," Remy thought to himself, "maybe dis girl is crazy, after all." And yet, the look in her face...she truly believed what she was saying. Gambit looked up at the night sky. The sun had been gone for quite some time now. Maybe there could be something to what she was saying.
"Well, I don't know who 'dey' are, Yue," he answered as he looked back to her, "but maybe dey got a point. After all, if you're not sure dis plan of yours will even work, maybe you should give it a little more thought. And besides, I'd hate t' go t' de trouble of helping you out tonight, just t' see you do something crazy. If dis spirit of yours is de only thing keeping you here, I'd say hold onto it. Dere's far too few women as beautiful as you in de world to lose one now." As he said this, he flashed her a smile. His words were both truthful and meant to hopefully keep her from trying anything foolish.
"So what d' you say, you sure you don't wanna sleep on de whole idea? Maybe I can walk you home, or where ever it is you're going? Dere might be a lot more nasties out, tonight."
