Buffy knew he was right. Spike had a little less tact than she might have appreciated, but tact wasn't what she needed just then. She had to have someone really pound the sense back into her, and they couldn't tippy-toe around the subject. It had to be blunt and honest, and that was what Spike was giving her. Even as a small scowl set into her face, she knew all of this.
"Yeah, well -- " another wince as the stinging swept across her face " -- I'd be surprised if they were up for it knowing what I did. Might get them all killed right along with me." She wasn't bitter or sharp-tongued anymore, just stating facts, or what she thought to be facts. She really didn't know at this point.
