She let out a grunt of annoyance when he tightened his grip on her, but she didn't struggle anymore. She knew she could easily break out of his grasp if she really tried, but she didn't have the energy or the willpower to do it. Besides, if there was anyone she did want to be around just then, it would only be him.
"Yeah," she replied, her gaze falling to his chest rather than his eyes. It was all she said. It was all she could say. Anything more and she would look more ridiculous than she already did, so she just went along with it and became more agreeable. At least on the outside.
