Buffy was tired of waiting. It seemed the only people who had ever brought up Glory in as far back as Buffy could remember had been herself and Faith. And Faith, well...Buffy was more than a little perturbed with the other Slayer. No, there was no sure-fire way to be sure of the angel swords' effectiveness against the hell god, but she sure as hell wasn't going to just sit and twiddle her thumbs while the others got things sorted out long enough to actually take action. Buffy was actually pretty unhappy with the Hyperion as a whole lately. Maybe if it was one of their family members that Glory wanted to bleed, they would put more priority into stopping her. That wasn't the case, so Buffy was taking matters into her own hands. Was it a suicide mission? Maybe. But Buffy was fine with that as long as she took Glory out with her. It would mean Dawn was safe, and she could go back to heaven again. Yes, all the talk of God and angels had caused her to miss it more painfully than she had in a long while.
It hadn't been hard to figure out where Glory was staying. A minion had been sent out to find Glory's pet snake when it didn't return, and lo and behold, Buffy had crossed paths with said minion. A little pummeling from fists and angel swords alike, and the information spilled like crazy.
A ritzy hotel, Buffy wasn't surprised. And it was easy to find the correct room when she knew all she had to in order to get past the front desk. The minion had squealed like a stuck pig.
Approaching the door, Buffy knocked on the frame and waited. Spring an attack when the door was opened. A few seconds later, though, she decided against that plan and simply kicked the door in herself.
