It was bad enough dealing with real kids who were running rampant through a city, but having to deal with adults who thought they were kids? So much worse. There was an overweight middle aged man chasing a woman wearing a suit down a sidewalk with a water gun and he willed himself to turn away from a doctor throwing spitballs at everything and everybody who ventured anywhere near him.
Somebody could have made a fairly decent horror movie out of this stupid city’s most recent turn of events. From what he’d seen, it had every desired detail that was needed to get a good scare. Every couple would think twice before deciding to build a nursery. The population would drop.
Ignoring the effected adults, he promptly went on ahead of Lana. He could get there faster on his own and if Jack was off playing pyromaniac, someone was going to have to put out his fire.
The lapping flames glowing orange and red and yellow caught his eye and he sped up and did a single lap around them. The gusts of wind that he gave off blew out toward the fire and overtook the heat, putting an end to the blaze. His method was quick and effective and the smoke was carried swiftly into the sky.
Bart came to a stop a distance away from the stairs and he watched as Tori went to gather up Jack.
