Selene smirked. The sort of smile her older self had long forgotten. If she were going to be married she would not voice a single complaint, for an older man he was very handsome. This was not an arranged marriage then. That made her blush deepen. Full blown crimson stained her cheeks. This man, Logan, must love her. "You are very handsome, Father would have approved."
It was evident in her tone when she spoke of her Father that Selene placed him on a very high pedestal. That she adored him. Her father had been an architect, one of the very best. Still he had also been a large burly man, with an unruly beard and bushy hair. Often he would have Selene braid the dark red mess for him when he was working. They use to spend days on end at the work site for the General. He had always been so different then the men he worked for. A mans man. Selene had always hoped she would find a man much like her father.
Now that she was calm she realized once again what she was wearing. "Do you-- do I have something less revealing to put on?"
Then it dawned on her that she had not answered his other question and it seemed rather important.
"There was not a man, with claws. I have seen no one but the dog."
