"Oh, okay. Good. Thanks." Because too much time away from school and he was going to start to forget things which, in Ben's mind, was not cool at all. "Who do I need a fake name? I mean it... I haven't done anything Spider related, so no one's seen my face. And it doesn't matter how I ended up here, since anyone who might have seen my face in front of the Met is back home." Not knowing that he was supposedly fictional, Ben figured that as long as he was careful the need for a fake name was completely unnecessary.
He started taking the steps two at a time to keep up with her. "Higher powers? You've been hanging out with Dr. Strange or something, haven't you?" He made a face and continued following behind.
"So basically a free room and everything and you don't have to live with dad. That's cool." Ben shrugged slightly before glancing over at May. "Dad's kind of... weird. I mean, not in just the 'he doesn't know me' way, but in the depressing kind of way. I thought it was me at first."
