Spider-sense was a wonderful thing. Even living with it almost his entire life, there were times when the sensation still caught him off guard. There was probably something to be said about training in that alone, but he tended to brush that off. It never happened when it was actually important. This was May, and he was pretty sure that May wasn't going to hurt him.
Part of his fear had been not recognising May, but she'd made it easy and even without the glaring obviousness of the suit, Ben was glad to find that she still looked pretty much the same, even if she was ten or twelve years younger than he was used to. He grinned, finally, after staring at her for a few moments reassuring himself that it really was okay for her to appear this young.
"Hey." He wondered how surreal this was for her. She only knew him as a four year old. "How many times have I told you not to sneak up on me like that?" Never, to her knowledge, but then there was the joke.
