Most of Mays traveling consisted of web slinging, even when she planned on taking the bus to her classes as UCLA, something always distracted her, and got her into her costume. So much money on a bus pass for no reason. Next semester she just wouldn't be bothered. But classes didn't start again for a while, and so she was free of the bus. Ben was coming over to the Hyperion, and that was making her rush back. She'd been on the streets, having stopped a potential four car pile up, when she realized she needed to get back.
Web-slinging was the fastest way, though sometimes she wished she could move faster. As she was nearing the hotel, she was able to make out a boy who could possibly be Ben. She'd never seen him as a teenager, but she imagined she would know by family resemblance.
Spider-Girl approached the hotel, landing on the wall, and pushing open a window she usually used for entrance. Looking down, she watched the boy in the lobby, catching a look at his face. That was definitely Ben. He looked so much like their dad. Stepping off the ledge, she let herself drop into the Hyperion, the scanners would know it was her. She landed in almost complete silence, only sensitive hearing or sensors would have picked it up.
Peeling back her mask, she let her slightly messed up hair fall around her shoulders as she walked toward him. She could hardly believe it, little Benjy, only a few years younger than her.
