"At least for right now." Looking down, She began picking at some lint on Her robe. When she looked up at Jo it was through thick eyelashes. "I want her very badly, I'll admit, but like I said... it takes forever to make a good one, you know. To make sure you have a Chosen that's really up to the challenge. It's hard."
Every loss hurt, and Her loss of Castiel still stung. She still couldn't believe it entirely. Couldn't believe that one of Her own had chosen a demon over Her. And with the questions Castiel had posed to Her, She couldn't help but wonder if there was something more She should have given him. The thought-- the thought that somehow She might have screwed this up yet again (and here She thought She'd learned with the Morningstar)... it tore Her.
"Admittedly," she said after a moment. "Your lives would be far easier if Castiel was still serving me. Then I wouldn't have had to call Uriel in the first place."
