"Right, at least my hair doesn't look like it's got snakes swarming out of it," Spike shot back, his irritation growing. First the dragging, then the hair. The only person in the world that he'd halfway allow to remark on his bleached top was Angel and he barely ever got away with it when he did. Now that he was gone, Spike didn't stand much for it when other people decided to snark on his appearance.
Her comment about him being 'the replacement' was quick to get under his skin. It didn't help much when the villain knew how to make their enemy cringe. And Glory seemed capable of it, stupid as she was. He pulled at her again, nearly dropping his blood in the process. Still nothing.
"Like you're very becoming in the first place," Spike muttered. "Between the whorish clothing and the limp that those hideous heels gave you, I'm finding it very hard to see anything becoming in your nature at all."
