Ever since Remus realised just how close it was to Christmas, he had a definite bounce in his step. He couldn't wait to shower Cian with gifts. True, he wouldn't understand what it was all about, but it wasn't about to stop Remus either. A baby's first Christmas was the most important.
And so, that's why Remus had snuck out of the flat early in the morning to go and procure them a tree. The rest of the decorations they could shop for at a later date, but there was something that appeased Remus's sense of nature to be the one to bring home the spruce. It hadn't taken him long to find what he was looking for and if it was too big for the flat, well -- that's why they had such a thing as flexible space.
Which, in the end was needed as Remus pushed the ceiling up to accomodate the 8 foot tall tree. A flick of his wand levitated it in the middle of the room where it would look the best. "Dora!" Remus called out to her. "You awake?"
