Mmmm, donuts. He knew that he probably should have been cutting back on the junk food, but who could really resist the yummy, sugary goodness that was shaped like a tire? Xander, for one, could not. So he had taken a short trip to the store. He figured that bringing back a box of donuts would do everyone justice at the Hyperion. After all, they were all so torn up about what was going on with Peter. They needed a little fuel. Something to motivate them. Xander might not have been the best guy on the field, nor was he the epitome of awesome as far as research was concerned. But snackage? Serious snackage? Oh yeah. He was all over that.
He was just stepping out of the store with a box of donuts balanced in one hand when he heard someone greet him. Looking up from the packaged snacks (he was distracted with the task of sneaking one from the box), Xander found himself staring at the woman who had been posting crazy stuff on the message boards the other night.
"Uhhh," Xander stepped back a little, looking a little uncertain. "Hey, are you still buckets o' crazy? Because I've already done my community service over at the institution uptown and, I have to say, it's really just unfair if they're gonna keep sending you guys on over to me. Especially if you're bringing your invisible friends who always cheat at chess."
