Meanwhile, at the bar, Tony was not having much luck.
"I... I don't know. What do you recommend?"
The bartender was not pleased. "Just pick one. I don't give recommendations. Either order or I'm going to serve an actual customer."
Tony blinked at the rebuke. That had hardly seemed necessary. "Well, then, I'll just have a pint of Guinness."
He wasn't usually much of one for Guinness but it was the only name he recognized. The tender rolled his eyes, poured the glass, and shoved it at Tony. The doctor paid for his drink and then turned to find a place to sit.
"Damn...," he muttered to himself, seeing that the place was packed. He finally saw an empty seat but there was already a woman sitting there, by herself. Double damn. No other options were presenting themselves, though, so with a sigh he walked over.
"Mind if I sit?" he asked. "Seems to be quite a lack of space in here at the moment."
