Her instincts were telling her that her mother's phone call was a trap. But, Alessa also worried that if her mother really were in danger, and if she didn't help then guilt would over come her mind. Even with just about everything inside of her screaming not to go, Alessa ignored all that, and teleported to the front of her mom's church.
Cautiously she stepped inside of the building, and looked around. There was no sign of her mother anywhere, and deep inside Alessa was fearing the worst.
"MOM?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" She called out loudly, hoping that her mom could hear her.
