She shrugged. She knew some people would have, and it never hurt to be prepared. "You're more decent than most, then." Dora shoved the money back into her pocket. It'd even been real. Not some piece of paper she'd transfigured and would have transformed back after a few days or so.
"Who's Ruby?" she asked curiously, wondering if she could put her wand away now that she'd taken a seat. Not that she was questioning who he chose to invite over to his flat (which seemed awfully devoid of natural light and fresh air) but she figured it didn't hurt to ask. She was far too suspicious these days.
Or maybe not suspicious enough, given that she was sitting in a stranger's apartment.
