"Like a penny," Spike commented, nodding. "It would." Except to him, it tasted so much better than that. It was something that drove him insane half the time, especially when he was around other people without having fed beforehand. Fortunately he had, so watching the happy meals with legs wander about wasn't as much of an issue as it might have been.
"I'm in my corner," Spike commented. "With beer. Aside from you, I haven't been very social." He looked past Fred at her question at Buffy and nodded. He didn't see her, but her scent was strong, even here. "Just ahead there someplace," he told her. "Probably with Xander or one of her other mates."
