Alice, Jasper & Claire (SBC); dancing hours
If there was one thing Alice loved as much as shopping and fast cars, it was weddings. Even if she hadn't planned this one, she was still thrilled to be attending it, as Peter was a good friend, even if a good deal of that friendship had yet to happen for him yet. This time, Jasper had been her dress-up doll, suffering hours of both shopping for him and shopping for her in order for them to find the right outfits. In the end, their preternatural beauty wasn't something either of them could hide, but in deference to the bride being the most beautiful person on her wedding day, a human tradition of thought that Alice thought was very sweet and wholeheartedly supported, she had finally attired them in simple formalwear that wouldn't make them overwhelming, light and soft fabrics for her and the more traditional look for Jasper.
"Oh, look!" she said, tugging on Jasper's sleeve like an excited child. "It's the older Claire!" It hadn't been the first time the Claires had been pointed out – Alice already knowing the younger one was not the same as before, but the older one still was – but this time her reasoning was very specific. It just wouldn't do for a bridesmaid to sit on the sidelines like this – nevermind that it was likely the brunette was legitimately just taking a break from dancing – and Alice had the perfect solution.
She would share. Happily so, even, because it was good for Jasper to deal with humans to help him continue to get better at it and Alice was grateful that the older Claire had never treated Jasper poorly when Claire had learned what he had done to the former younger version of herself.
"You're going to ask her to dance." They had fed very recently just for this fact, being among so many humans, and there was no violence allowed in the Lux, so Alice wasn't worried. Besides, she knew it would go very well.
