He nodded slowly, as if coming to terms with the idea that someone might not care if he stole things out of their store. "Well, that's definitely beneficial," he decided eventually, mentally writing up a list of all the things he might want to take. A change of clothes for a start, although by the look of the man in front of him the fashion in the city had gone completely nuts.
He looked down at the TV again, almost tempted to ask what exactly the device was, but he had to be careful. If this gentleman was working with on of the policemen, he'd be on to him instantly if he started asking about boxes. He opted for an alternative. "Is this Dublin?" he asked suddenly; he'd heard it was a big place, but he hadn't imagined anything quite like this. "Only, I've only been cycling for about thirty minutes, I certainly didn't expect to end up in the city," he remarked.
