Peter snickered, glancing up at his brother. "You kidding?" he asked, all too aware that it was just that. "Falling asleep with these guys? Might as well start posing for all the lewd photos they'd start taking of me."
"It'd certainly make it easier on us if you would," spoke up Bennet, seated on the other side of Peter. "You're damn impossible to trick as it is."
Peter arched a brow. "Maybe for some." Both let the exchange end there, without acknowledging that Bennet was one of the few that could and had gotten past the empath's defenses. The men exchanged a glance, and then Peter broke it off, snagging a handful of popcorn from the bowl Nathan had just stolen.
He grinned, the lower lip pulling to the right in his trademark mischievous smile. "Maybe we'll go to Coney Island after the kids go to bed, huh?"
