Her head turned and she saw him. Rarely if ever did King wear shorts, at least not to her recollection. As she headed towards him she tossed the bag up on the deck and walked to him. The wind was blowing a bit, causing goosebumps to raise over her exposed skin. Her arms slipped around his neck, raising on her tiptoes and she kissed him softly, smiling against his lips. So maybe the just married feeling hadn't quite worn off of her yet.
It was during these times she let the tough side of her fall away and be a normal woman. One that from time to time needed her man to protect her and romance her. It wasn't only for him she did this, but for herself as well. After a lifetime of fighting she owed it to herself to be a little vulnerable. And with him she could allow that to be.
"Mmm, you did this all for us Hannibal?" Abby looped her arms around his neck lazily, ignoring the slight chill in the air as she gazed into his eyes. "Damn you're gorgeous." It was just then she realized that she hadn't ever really paid him much in the way of compliments, but he had always told her how attractive she was in some way or another, even if sometimes in the past the things he said had been vulgar. She never really acknowledged, or at least let him know she had found him irresistible.
