Behind the stupidly drunk smile, Lindsey inwardly cheered when Faith knocked another two in. Not that he doubted they would win, especially not when they both had done their fair share of hustling, but he preferred it when it looked nicer. He swatted her rear end as the other man stepped up to take his next shot.
"Nice placement," he murmured out of the corner of his mouth, watching as the guy muttered a curse and then made his shot. The balls all scattered again, heading for the four corners and setting up a nice little shot for Lindsey.
He accepted the pool cue and leaned down without even taking time for consideration, eyes narrowing slightly as he sighted one of the balls. With a soft crack, it rolled into the hole and he shifted again. This time, the ball tapped the corner of the hole and stopped right on the edge. He flirted briefly with the idea of giving it a mental tap in, but decided against it.
"Damn," he cursed and handed back the cue. "Those always suck."
