"Personally? I'd be a little wary of the person that did that," he said as he stared the bottle in front of him. "Someone who willingly turned themselves in could mean, true in your case, possibly that they were someone that the police couldn't contain. Sure, you get a rep by beating those more powerful than you, but is it worth it when you underestimate the opponent and get your ass handed to you, or worse?"
He considered that briefly before picking up the bottle. "Then there's also taking that risk or wanting to be the guy that everyone underestimates. Plenty of ways to look at it, I guess." Lindsey frowned and glanced over at her. "The First tried to have you offed in jail?" he asked incredulously. "Didn't think the ultimate in evil was that stupid."
A drink down, he shook his head. "Just saying if it came down to a choice between the two and no other, I know what I'd pick. Probably wouldn't even noticed a difference in attitude," he joked.
